Barbecues grills as we know them all started with a Spark of Inspiration
It was way back, not long after the World war two had ended,
That the hankering for good barbecue lit a fire under George Stephen. the father of the moden barbecue
Heres a good beef recipe
This is a simple using commercial BBQ sauce with added flavors.
The sauce could be used on bone-in short ribs; just increase cooking time.
Ingredients:
3 – 4lbs. Short ribs, boneless or thin sliced
1 ½ cups BBQ sauce
1/3 cup seafood cocktail sauce
3 tablespoons wine vinegar
Place ribs in a baking dish, bowl or heavy duty plastic bag. Combine other ingredients and pour over ribs. Toss ribs so all are evenly coated. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
Remove ribs from sauce and place on smoker grid. Baste with sauce before cooking and once during cooking.

Charcoal: Use 5 – 7 pounds charcoal, 3 quarts hot water, 2 wood sticks and smoke 1 ½ – 2 ½ hours.
Electric: Use 2 ½ quarts hot water, 2 wood sticks and smoke 1 ½ – 2 ½ hours.
Serves 4
